The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association held their second event at the Brickyard last year and it was my first time attending a vintage race.  Thinking I knew what to expect for the one day I was able to shoot I wasn’t all that excited for the event.  Don’t get me wrong I love the classic racing cars but I didn’t expect much racing and thought they would be just poking around the track.  Once I had my credentials in hand I took up my first position on the road course turn 1 and to my surprise the majority of the guys were actually racing each other and that greatly helped my attitude for the day.  I pause here and will finish telling my story from that day’s events and share my favorite moment to date at IMS in a future post. Until then here are my favorite images from that day.
